Jane Ashcroft CBE
Chief Executive

Jane joined Anchor in 1999 and was appointed Chief Executive in 2010.

She is also Chair of Care England, the leading representative body for independent care services in England.

In January 2014 Jane was honoured a CBE in the Queens New Year’s Honour List.

Howard Nankivell 
Housing Operations Director

Howard joined Anchor in October 2009 bringing with him nineteen years sales and marketing experience from a number of different market sectors.

Mario Ambrosi 
Head of Corporate Affairs

Mario heads the Communications team and leads on Anchor’s PR, campaigns and public affairs work.

He is Vice-Chair of the Public Relations Consultants Association’s Charities and Not for Profit Group, and a Trustee at the Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion.

Rob Martin 
Head of Care Quality

Rob Martin has worked in Health and Social Care for nearly 20 years, with a strong background in driving quality, diversification and growth in residential homes, homecare, acquired brain injury services and specialist services for over 55s.

As Anchor’s Head of Care Quality, Rob is responsible for quality of care delivered across the portfolio as well as driving service improvement through new initiatives and technology. Rob has spoken publicly on living well with dementia, health and social care funding and great care and support in a residential setting.

Andrew Seal

Service Improvement Consultant

As Service Delivery Consultant, Andrew supports the implementation of a wide range of customer focused service improvements across the organisation.

A qualified Chef, Andrew moved on from the London city fine dining restaurants to pursue his career aim of transforming the food and dining experiences of older people living in care. He has worked in care sector for the past eight years and his passion for healthy living and home cooked nutritious food has extended naturally into improving the wellness of residents through meaningful holistic activity, community engagement, physical exercise and the use of technology.

Zahid Khan
Service Improvement Consultant

Zahid joined Anchor in 2005 and as Service Delivery Consultant, supports the implementation of a wide range of customer focused service improvements across the organisation.

His areas of expertise include wellness and meaningful activity as well as leading on the use of iPads and technology to enhance the lives of our care home customers. He also supports food quality and the dining experience, volunteering and housekeeping.
