All of our employees are trained and supported by our dedicated dementia team to ensure residents feel valued and able to live life to the full. Ever ready to offer support to family and friends via access to information and advice, their approach respects the uniqueness of each person rather than focusing on the diagnosis of dementia.

Customer reviews

I am writing to you to relate my story of the amazing care my Mum received as a resident of Beech Hall.
She never envisaged having to go into a care home and had lived alone in her own home after my Father passed. After only 2 weeks of being at Beech Hall she told me that she absolutely loved it there which was a great sense of relief to me and my brother to know that she was happy and being cared for by the many lovely, kind, wonderful, dedicated staff who work there.
She enjoyed joining in the activities that are provided and loved the many ‘sing a longs’ which took place weekly which were supervised by her carers and staff who were free to join in. She was able to have her hair done weekly as she had always done throughout her life in the hairdressing salon in there and even had her nails manicured and painted which of course makes any of us ladies feel glamorous and feminine. Whoever visited her remarked how happy she was there with her friends that she made when she became a resident there. The people who visited were surprised by how lovely and caring Beech Hall is and described it as being ‘home from ‘home’.
This year I realised her health was deteriorating and so I wanted to be close to mum, staying at first in a hotel near to the care home in Leeds as my home is in Northamptonshire. Davina your lovely manager told me I could actually stay in one of the empty rooms which of course was better for me as I was close by to my beautiful Mum in the later stage of her life. I stayed with her for 9 days and nights and was privileged to be holding her hand as she took her very last breath as she passed away so peacefully.
There aren’t enough words to convey to you the kindness, gentleness, respect, love and care the wonderful staff at Beech Hall gave to my Mum and myself during the this time and I will always treasure the very special moments I was allowed to share with her as she was nearing her final days. There was so much professionalism and dignity shown to us by the team there of which you must be very proud of in the knowledge that Davina and her staff went ‘over and above’ with assisting me also during this very sad time.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
