24-hour peace of mind
An experienced resident or visiting estate manager supports each Anchor retirement development. They oversee the properties and are there to provide as much or as little advice as you would like.
In addition to our estate managers, 24-hour support is provided for all leasehold customers through Anchorcall; an emergency call telephone alarm system installed in your new home. We understand that maintaining your independence is important and have ensured that the support we offer is discreet and designed to provide peace of mind for you and your family. Anchorcall will allow you to call for help should you ever need it, whether that be help summoning emergency services assistance, an emergency repair or advice and reassurance.
Anchorcall is monitored by our friendly, well trained staff, who have immediate access to all customers' details and can respond quickly and appropriately 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
More support when you need it
Some Anchor retirement estates and developments also offer extra support from trained care staff. This varies between developments but can include a wide range of domestic and practical support.
As a valued Anchor customer, your independence is important to us. If your needs change in the future we will be on hand to offer you help and advice on the type of housing or care you may need going forward.
Being England’s largest not-for-profit provider and housing and care for older people means we are well placed to help offer you advice and support should your needs change and you find yourself considering the suitability of your current home.
